On a bacula installation that I originally set up on a machine running
Debian "etch", everything was running smoothly.
Since etch has been EOL'ed, it was necessary to upgrade it, and we

I was trying to set up bacula on my parents' laptop the other day so
that they could do proper backups to DVD+RW disks. Only it isn't
working.
- Running 'dvd-handler /dev/dvdrw write 1 /tmp/foo' works perfectly; it
blanks the disc and writes the file /tmp/foo on it.

one which you did earlier, it will look for a job with the same name on
which to base the backup; since you have different jobs, that doesn't
work.
The default config file contains an example of how to do this.
