Thanks for the pointer....

As a fairly experienced administrator with legato networker and EMC's
EDM, I find it strange that I have to associate both a pool resource 
and a storage resource to a job definition with bacula, surely a pool is
enough ? What are the benefits of having it the  way it is currently ? 
>From a non coder/developers point of view I dont think it can be too
complicated to write the something like;

I need to write something to tape (covers backups starting and tape filling)
which pool is it
do I have a volume in a drive for that pool
is the volume appendable

and so on
