Hi all,

I've run bacula 1.30 for a couple of years on a RH-9 system and an HP Surestore DDS-3 with most things A-OK. Recently upgraded to 1.36.2 with Postgresql, (7.3.2), by completely removing, I hope, old installation and doing new install from RPM.

Last night I started a full backup with gzip on a new tape of about 19Gb of data. It ran for about 14.5 hours then asked for a new tape, which I gave it, and it is still running about 2 hours later. Doing a "list media" shows the first tape status "Full" with volbytes 1,818,399,672. Unless I'm very much mistaken that's only about 1.8Gb !?!

I've seen some discussion in the list about Postgresql being slow but this seems ridiculous. And what's going on with the volbytes? Any suggestions here would be appreciated.

Thanks.
