1. I am NOT using a tape-based system, half-inch or otherwise.
Nightly backups are written to hard disk drives and then copied to a
cloud drive.
2. Likewise, I am NOT using a robot or changer.

Just a TS2240 tape drive. No changer or robots.

Just to chime in here: I have one customer using a Quantum Superloader3 with
16 slots and 1 LTO7 drive. Currently using Bacula community version 7.4.0.
Zero problems.

We are currently using LTO-5 but hope to upgrade to LTO-6/7 in the
future. We are also looking at backing up to a remote site (tapes are
currently taken off site). Possibly to a cloud storage.
