Please look at the list archives, where I mentioned exactly this problem
a couple of weeks ago. You can't connect to the director because you
don't have one running.

I am running windows 2003 operating system.
Recently, downloaded and installed Bacula - 1.39.26 ..I get bacula(client) and Bacula(storage) on my system tray.When i start wx-console from my start->programs->Bacula i get :
connecting .
Failed to connect to the director
