Amazon launches its Micropayment system called
FPS (Amazon Flexible Payment System). I guess
it mainly will be used to charge people for
reading web content, as you can create unlimited
microcharge rules (e.g. charge 0.01 US$ per
page view).
Transaction fee seems to be moderate, especially
if you keep the money within the Amazon payment
system.
I wonder if future hotel cashiers do show the
exchange rates for Paypal, Amazon, SMP (Skype
Micropayment), ER (Electronic Renminbi) and
MMS (Microsoft Money System) instead of USD,
EUR and Yen...
