I didn't realize that the thread was offering a choice. It would be unrealistic
to me to discard medical advice, whether the illness be physical or mental. I
see prayer as a positive adjunct to any medicine.Vince

In my view, a religious person can both pray and find a scientific remedy
for their mental ailments. But, if I were forced to bet, I would choose
science over the "power of prayer." But that's just me.
