Dear Friends,

I read a comment recently (on the Baha’i Library website – provisionals/Aqdas) 
that said, “this transliteration is grammatical, not oral.”  Is it possible to 
briefly explain this distinction?  How did Shoghi Effendi transliterate 
Baha’u’lláh’s Arabic? Was it grammatical, oral or both? Please forgive my 
ignorance. This subject is very new to me.

I don’t mean to confuse the issue but I heard that the pronunciation of some of 
Baha’u’lláh’s Arabic is uncertain at this time.  Any comments on this?
