manual. I retrieved that sequence information from the source code, which is
pretty well commented.

you are right, it is not the best, but the easiest way to do that, because the
mail message contains all necessary informations (but sometimes the values a
not easy to read for non humans see Bug#931)
And it is not that easy to write a python plugin for that ;)
