Hi, We are currently testing bareos for deployment within our mobile-clients network environment and so far it looks promising.
As our clients are all notebooks, the jobs should be initiated by the client itself instead of the schedule on the server. Therefore we created a script that uses the bconsole feature to contact the bareos-director, register the clients ip address and tells the server to schedule a backup job. However, when I get to the part of creating a script that will "silent"-install the Bareos software onto our windows clients I seem to run into a problem. The installation of the bconsole does not seem to be one of the options that can be given during a silent installation. Can anyone tell me whether I am missing something or whether someone else also endured this issue? (and if so, how they fixed this?)
