Dear Collective wisdom, I haven't heard a recording of this sonata and I am wondering how this prelude should be played at the beginning with the chordal section. I would be grateful for any helpful suggestions many thanks
Oh- BTW, if playing a long-necked lute with wound bass strings and a lamp positioned low over the music, do not be tempted to stand up while holding the lute! I did this and there was a load bang and the bulb shattered.
