Dear lute friends,
as Tim Crawford wrote to me in the last days, the S-C numbering of
Weiss's works is now complete.
The last volumes of the Sämtliche Werke are now prepared and about to be
printed.
There had been one last change, that refers to all of the single works -
numbers with * - above 50*.
The former S-C 49*, a Courante in F, had been deleted from the list, as
it is a work by Lauffensteiner (there are concordances in Salzburg, New
York and Vienna). So now 50* becomes 49*, 51* -> 50*, ... 88* -> 87*.
I have adjusted the list and the Catalogue of recordings on
http://www.slweiss.com (or http://www.slweiss.de).
Please tell me, if you find mistakes. I have seen that some of the
incipits have been in wrong order (A-Su and D-ROu53.1A) and corrected
it. As it is an extensive list, there might be more mistakes ...
