Hi Jon,
There should have been a sample config line, which looks like this:
Device 3009efe3 1 1
That's all on one line. The comments were just to describe what each
field meant.
Try:
Device 21da7a87 1 1
and see how that goes.

however it does create a file evobarry.changes.db
in .evolution/addressbook/local/system
