Hi Jari Thank you for your comments. I am using BASE 2.17.2 which is running on a Linux/Ubuntu server. I have found that RMAExpress runs perfectly with most Affymetrix files, but I get this error when analysing data from Affymetrix GeneChip Human Gene 1.0 ST or Affymetrix GeneChip Mouse Gene 1.0
