Hi,

I'm drastically migrating to emacs(21.2.1)/gnus(5.9 - the one that
comes bundled with e21.2.1)/bbdb(2.34), and I've been all day
compiling and configuring stuff.

Maybe I misunderstood something, but... bbdb's usual modus operandi is
that it starts gathering information, like when I'm reading e-mail it
saves the addresses, etc. Am I right on this?

If so - how do I get it to do this? To my knowledge I've followed the
steps in the documentation, but now I can read all the mail I want, it
doesn't gather anything. The .bbdb file says only

;;; file-version: 6

and it never changes.

Sorry if I misunderstood something...

Regards,
        Mario.

P.S: My .emacs file, without the faces options...

(require 'bbdb)
(require 'message)
(bbdb-initialize 'gnus 'message)
(add-hook 'gnus-startup-hook 'bbdb-insinuate-gnus)
(bbdb-insinuate-message)
