The package bbdb3 (3.1.1-1) has entered Debian testing (aka jessie). If you are using Debian and have testing or unstable (jessie or sid) listed in /etc/apt/sources.list, you should be able to
apt-get install bbdb3 Or, the package can be manually downloaded and installed from http://packages.qa.debian.org/b/bbdb3.html Note that bbdb3 conflicts with the old bbdb (2.x) package, and requires GNU Emacs 23+. I would welcome testing and bug reports, particularly regarding installation, packaging, and integration with other Debian Emacs packages. I have not attempted to support xemacs, but would happily integrate tested patches from xemacs users. -- Barak A. Pearlmutter Hamilton Institute & Dept Comp Sci, NUI Maynooth, Co.
