This function has the same kind of bug as I just reported with BBDB/SC-CONSULT-ATTR. I haven't been playing with BBDB and SC for a while. Did something change in the internals so that BBDB-USER-MAIL-NAMES used to return a string, but now returns a list? Is there an alternative function that fits the old behavior, that we should replace in STRING-MATCH calls? But this one also had the odd behavior of seeming to code like (STRING-MATCH <table> <key>) instead of (STRING-MATCH <key> <table>), which just seems wrong.....
