If you still use bbdb 2.35, it looks ok to me (except your typo (?) that
should be 'bbdb-pop-up-target-lines').

Hello,
I'm using the very latest bzr of Emacs (24.0.50).
On it, I'm setting;
(setq bbdb-use-pop-up t)
(setq bbdb-po-up-target-lines 7)
but this doesn't work. That is, the height of *BBDB* buffer becomes
25.
I tested vaious value instead of 7, but it remains 25, though.
Has anyone solved this

I'm not sure to understand the question, but bounding TAB to what you
did when sending mails

up BBDB buffer is always half of my whole XEmacs window high. Or is
