The guys over at errtheblog.com created a great gem called Cheat that
provides command-line access to a wiki of Ruby, Rails, UNIX, and other
useful cheat sheets. I just created an AppleScript that integrates
these cheatsheets into BBEdit.

After downloading / installing / configuring, you can simply highlight
a word in BBEdit, hit a command shortcut, and get a full cheatsheet
for the highlighted term. You can also get a list of available
cheatsheets.

For instructions and a link to the script, please see my blog post
"Cheat Sheets with BBEdit" on <a href="http://www.idolhands.com/";
title="Cheat Sheets with BBEdit">http://www.idolhands.com/</a>

I've also updated my <a href="http://www.idolhands.com/ruby-on-rails/
moving-back-to-bbedit-from-textmate/" title="Moving Back to BBEdit
from Textmate">"Moving Back to BBEdit from Textmate" post to reflect
some of the goodies that 9.1 brings.

Enjoy!
