Since you are using Jessie images, have you tried using ConnMan to manage
the WiFi connection rather than resorting to all of this systemd and
ifup/ifdown stuff?
You can configure ConnMan using the "connmanctl" command line utility, or
via the "cmst" GUI utility. to setup your link (ssid, crede

Obviously swap the kernel modules with the ones appropriate for your

After a little googling, it seems that it's hard to achieve the lowest
theoretical power consumption on the BBB in sleep. As of November 2014, it
seems the HDMI and LAN remain powered, and possibly the external DRAM is not
put into a self-refresh mode. Does anyone know what the state of these th

How would it impact the community ? Not sure, but would likely be
favorable. Jason was just "asking" for something like this not long ago.

Hello Robert,
I know "console=tty0" is not there because I followed the instructions on
eewiki BBB. Is it possible to set "console" to some value to disable its
output to display? Thanks!

Hello
Sorry, this is not a solution for me. I use kernel 3.18 and Ubuntu file
system. I followed the instruction on eewiki BBB website to build image.
The uEnv.txt is in /boot. Thanks!

@Brandon,
when you use BB-BONE-PRU-01 overlay you won't have run-time pinmuxing
capability.

I have been having this same issue where the LED blinks once when 5V DC
power is applied. I would have to plug and unplug the DC adapter pin, or
press the power button several times before the LED holds steady and the
BBB boots. No such problems if powered by USB.

Hi Robert.
I followed your instructions and got to the point where I run "sudo dpkg -i

Under /boot I see these files successfully unpacked:

So back to the issue, have you checked to see why the kernel didn't load it?
dmesg | grep cape

Hi,
I recently build a Linux Image for the Beaglebone Black rev.C. I cannot get
working the hdmi output with this buildroot image. If I use the stock image
coming on the NAND of the beaglebone, the hdmi output is well working so
this is not an hardware failure.
