Would this be the cape you are using? https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/BeagleBone_Green_HDMI_Cape/ If you type 'dmesg' at the command prompt you should be able to see if there are any errors seen with the cape. I would double check the install of the cape as well. There is this note in the Seeed Stu

Hi all. Recently bought a BB Green, and after a while ordered an HDMI cap for. Installed Debian 8.10 2018-02-01 4GB SD SeeedStudio IoT , updated and upgraded: no video out on the monitor from the HDMI
