You have to have a router. The public Internet is not Wireless. Somewhere there is a wire and a router. Unless you are doing this from a park bench or an Internet Cafe... Or "stealing" your neighbor's WiFi. What do you have for an ISP? Cable? FIOS? DSL? Municipal Fiber? Or something else?
