[beagleboard] BBB 3.18.0 kernel lockups

2014-12-12 Thread Christof Meerwald
Hi, 3.18.0 kernel locks up my BBB after a few seconds of maxing out the Ethernet connection - unfortunately, there is no output on the serial console. Kernel 3.17.1 on the other hand is fine. Anyone else seeing this or having an idea what could have caused this in 3.18? Christof -- http://cme

Hi, I tried to upgrade to kernel 2.15.0-rc7-bone1 (http://rcn-ee.net/deb/trusty-armhf/v3.15.0-rc7-bone1/), but all I got was an error from u-boot "invalid extent block". I am assuming this is a bug in u-boot - is there any fix available (updated u-boot?) or would I have to move the kernel to a fat

Hi, I just tried updating to v3.12.5-bone10 (from http://rcn-ee.net/deb/saucy-armhf/v3.12.5-bone10/), but my BBB froze completely shortly after booting. Unfortunatly, there was absolutely no output on the serial console, but it's likely related to my USB-connected DVB-T stick (similar to the USB i
