FYI. My computers just went thru the Window 10 anniversary update. This
broke the Ethernet over USB functionality for BBB (along w/ a number of
other things). When I went to re-install the BONE_D64.exe file from
http://beagleboard.org/getting-started, the install failed even when run as
administrator.

I was able to get it working by manually updating the driver software:

1) In "Device Manager" --> "Network Adapters" --> "Linux USB Ethernet/RNDIS
Gadget", right click and "Update Driver Software ...".
2) Select "Browse my computer for driver software"
3) Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
4) Wait for list to be retrieved.
5) Select Manufacturer: "Microsoft", Model: "Remote NDIS Compatible
Device"

You will get a warning but you can let the driver update install. Cloud 9
and all the other Ethernet over USB stuff should then work.
