Hi! I am sometimes wondering why there seems to be little to no attention that there is not standy-mode on ARM-plattforms when using pure linux? Sure, energy consumption is considerably less when compared to x86 plattforms, yet it would relieve thermal stress of the often closely integrated hardware and still save some energy. I don't know how low the stock cpu-govenor sets the core when idling, but this does essentially keeps the remaing hardware under full power?
Any thoughts on that? Cheers Robert -- For more options, visit http://beagleboard.org/discuss --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BeagleBoard" group.
