II. What is healthy water for our body?
1. Water in our body
(Infants; 85%, Adults: 70%, Aged: 51% with water)
-70% of Human body consists of water
- 91% of our blood, 75% of muscle, 10% of bones
- Decrease of drinking water by 1~3% will cause thirst, 3%~5% will deprive
pulse and body temperature control of the body, over 5% lead to coma, and of
pulse and if you lose 12% of water, you will die. And the content of water
varies with age; from 85% at infants, 70% and eventually 51% when old.

2. Nutrition: Contents of Well-being Alkaline Water
a. Coral sand
Minerals produced in Australia and New Zealand, one of pollution-free areas
in the world; it is made from natural corals which are known to contain 40
minerals, a treasure of minerals. It will help maintain the reduced water mild
alkaline and remove harmful microbes of the body.
b. Tourmaline ceramic ball
Also called Tourmaline(電氣石) which forms electric potential, help ionize water
and make it weak alkaline.
Its far infrared ray(遠赤外線) will again turn water’s cluster(water molecule
cohesion) micro.
c. Magnesium
Highly pure magnesium extracted from Japanese Magnesite will turn water

4. Minerals in the Water-the following is on the basis of stick combined
water.
a. Mg(Magnesium): necessary for brain functions, nervous systems, and muscle
formation. Helpful for stress relief and important for absorption of Ca &
Vitamins. It is reported that 95% of adults are shown to be lacking this
minerals, the main cause of which is attributed to lack of greens on the modern
food table. The excessive intake of synthetic seasonings and alcohols is also
responsible for abnormal discharge of magnesium out of body.
b. Fe(Iron): Major component of hemoglobin

IV. Balance Factor
1. Free Radicals (Active Oxygen): Active hydrogen & Antioxidant
Part of oxygen necessary for body’s metabolism is turned into “highly
reactionary active oxygen.” 2% of this active oxygen (free radical) is being
produced only from normal breathing itself. This free radical destroys our body
cells or DNA, giving rise to illnesses and aging.
Well-being Alkaline Reduction Water Sticks are exceedingly effective removing
these free radicals. Magnesium in the Sticks reacts to water, producing
naturally hydrogen; at this time hydrogen in the form of active hydrogen
(Hydrogen Radical H•, H-) plays a role of highly effective “antioxidant”

a. Oxidation of Blood
If blood becomes oxidized, viscosity will be high, causing trouble in blood
circulation. It will negatively affect red blood cells, and inhibit nutrients
delivery all the way to capillary. If this process repeats itself, more active
oxygen is produced with red blood cells attacked, cholesterol/lipid oxidized
and turned into “lipid peroxide.” This sticks to blood tube, making it
narrower. Thus if the red blood cells become hardened with blood tubes
narrowed, there occurs “blood congestion”, giving rise to deficiency of oxygen
between the cells. It will negatively affect our metabolism. But with the help
of Well-being Alkaline Reduction Sticks, those oxidative wastes melt down in
the water, discharged out of the body. If you see the picture below, the

VI. Effectiveness of Alkaline Reduction Water

1. Increase of Immune reaction
Immune reaction refers to “self-defense” system of body to protect itself
from outside germs. We moderners have weakened our immune systems due to
environment pollution, stress, instant foods and etc. Well-being Alkaline
Reduction Water helps increase this immune reaction by removing free radicals
and oxidative wastes from our body. For example in one survival test for
chickens, the chickens with alkaline reduction water showed 99.9% survival rate
vis-à-vis otherwise fed(normal underground water) chickens. It tells us
the difference of immune reaction power according to different waters.
2. Diabetes
It is caused by accumulation of oxidative wastes on pancreases. The
malfunctions of pancreas will prevent insulin being produced, which is called
diabetes. The Stick will help eliminate these oxidative wastes, thus leading to
normal secretion of insulin. For example, Kyowa hospital in Japan shows
improvement of malignant diabetes of 18 years with drinking 6~8 liters of
alkaline reduction water. In Korea, Hanseo University’s natural medical center
conducted a test on 15 diabetes patients with alkaline water; all of them
exhibited a drastic lowing down of sugar blood.
3. Anti-Cancer
Normal cells die with accumulation of oxidative wastes in them, while cancer
cells undergo genetic mutation in order to survive them. Accordingly cancer
cells could be called mutated cells which survived oxidative environments. the
Stick is expected to decrease these free radicals which are responsible for
oxidative environments.
In an experiment in Korea, the size of malignant cancer cell with reduction
water is remarkably smaller than that of normal water.
VII. How to use Well-being Alkaline Reduction Water Stick
1. Reduction Water
Alkaline reduction water is characterized by pH & ORP. pH simply means nature
of solvent, easily verifiable with
BTB reagent. The figure varies on the basis of pH 7.0 (neutral), going
acid(1~6) and alkaline(8~14).
ORP goes positive(+) when its oxidation power increases, negative(-) when
reduction power increases.
Stick is designed to meet mild alkaline (pH 8.6~9.5), with ORP(oxidation
reduction potential) ranging -250~-50mV,
which is the optimal level to donate surplus electrons to free radicals.
With BTB, the colors vary from red (acid), green (neutral), navy blue
(alkaline)
Normal purified water: pH7.0 (green)
Alkaline Reduction Water: pH 8.0~9.0 (weak alkaline blue)
In addition, micro clustered water is easily absorbed into the body, tasting
bland. If you test with green tea, micro-clustered Well-being Alkaline
Reduction water looks darker than normal water (1 min. after tea pack inserted
into waters)
2. How to drink?
There is no medically designated amount. But considering water’s primary
function as eliminating wastes, you are recommended to drink 3 liter a day. If
you are heavy smokers, surrounded by pollution-filled environment, or exposed
to instant or processed foods, drink more than 3 liter consciously. Pour water
into the bottle, shake it for 10 seconds, and leave it for 5 minutes till the
minerals come out of the Stick into water. It is best to drink it 1)right after
you get up, 2) before going to bed with empty stomach, 3) slowly, and 4) little
by little (1~2 cups). Do not leave it in room temperature for long; you are
recommended to drink it in a day, leave it in a fridge as long as just 3 days.
3. Durability of Stick
You can use 10 ~ 12 months, By the time you use up, you will notice with your
own eyes that the contents of the Stick have reduced considerably. Then you
have to exchange the Sticks.
4. We can see “white floating stuff” in the water.
Some minerals from the stick become “magnesium hydroxide,” non-soluble
mineral. This is perfectly safe with human body. Rest assured that you can
drink it.
5. What kind of water should I use with Well-being Alkaline Reduction Water?
You are recommended to use purified water in order to maintain durability of
the Stick.
But you may also use normal distilled or bottled mineral water; in other
words, all drinking water may be used.
6. How to clean up the Sticks?..
You can clean the Sticks 4~8 times in a month with citric acid. If citric
acid is not available, you may also use “vinegar”; vinegar:water=1:1 or 1:2
1. Pour water till the Sticks are completely submerged.
2. Put 1~2 teaspoonful of citric acid into the bottle. Close the
bottle with a cap. Shake the bottle for 10 seconds. (heat and bubbles are being
produced)
Open the bottle and leave it for 1 min. till all bubbles go away. Then wash
the Sticks with clean water for 3 times.
4. Put the drinking water into bottle and start to use again.
Q&A
- Detoxification Reaction?
It can be equated with a process in which our body adjusts to a new material.
Healthy persons adjust to it without it, but these phenomena occur when you
have chronic weakness in that specific area.
Its severity varies person to person, but includes such symptoms as lethargy,
itching, nausea, and etc.
They just go away within 2~3 weeks, accordingly are basically different from
so-called side effects of medications.
If they occur, just cut down on the amount of water being drunk for the
temporary, and then increase it little by little.
- Who is to drink?
Anyone could drink it, unless you are suffering from specific deceases. It is
not for medical treatment, but for hygiene and prophylaxis (prevention of
disease). For a long period of time Japanese enjoy it, especially
“Long-longevity Villagers.” Lately a test on pregnant women shows the delivery
of health babies with clean amniotic fluid (water in the womb).

- If we drink reduced water, will it affect our body’s pH?
Our body is designed to hit homeostasis (constancy of metabolism). In terms of
pH, our body has a mechanism to control our body’s pH in a certain level. In
order to maintain optimal pH level in the blood, various mechanisms like
buffers, breathing thru lungs, urination by kidney are in function. So
alkalinity will not change however much you drink alkaline reduction water.
- Effective on diet?
Normal water does not mix with oil, but you will notice that alkaline
reduction water mingles with oil at the point of its boundary; this so-called
‘surface activity” of alkaline water will help remove fat wastes, increase
urination, and be effective on obesity, if you drink 3~6 liter a day.
