I've installed, tested (via nmake), and played around with the Inline 
module group with Activestate Perl 5.6 and Visual Studio 6.

I had no problems at all. Basic knowledge of the XS macros is needed when 
passing data between Perl and your inline code. (Tutorials are included 
with the Inline package, and perldoc.)
