it's not a perl problem, it's an m$ 'feature' (mainly found under NT lacking
some service packs/upgradss)
for example, on win98 i never had that problem, neither do i have it on
win2k or on my fully sp'd and upgraded winnt4 box
however on a few nt boxes having NOT had all service packs, i'm stuck

Can you change the Properties of the command window? Right click on
the blue bar at the top, Properties, then the Layout tab.
I typically set it to:
Screen Buffer Size:
Width 100
Height 300
Window Size:
Width80
Height 50
This should work on 98. I run Win2k, but it also work
