[Ankur-core] how to test updated locale?

Hello, I am working on glibc's bn_BD locale updation. But after placing it in /usr/share/i18n/locales and running localedef the changes are not reflecting in KDE's control panels regeonal section. Any idea how to test new values in an existing locale? Btw, I was testing on FC3+KDE 3.3.0's control
