Obviously Yukon is going to be a tracking dog:-) Who knows he may excel at
Search and Rescue:-) Seriously if you need to get his nose off the floor
the best thing to do is lots of change of direction and change of pace,
that way he'll think you have no idea of where you're going so he'd
Does Yukon act this way with everyone who walks him, or only with you?
Reason I ask is that our Balou is a Hoover also. He will walk with his head
up only if off-leash and moving fast; otherwise, it's nose to the ground.
We had our daughter handle him during his CGC. He was bright, alert & HEAD
