to a good Berner cause. My problem is I haven't always found everything I
want at Amazon. When that happens I go to

The best place to buy books is through our own "BORIS BOOKS" site. There
is a link to Amazon.com and I get most of my books through them. They
always seem to have whatever dog books I'm looking for which makes it even

I received an info. packet from my local club CVBMD that had a list of some
books, I am interested in getting. I was just wondering if anyone knows where
to find them. I looked at Barnes and Noble, but couldn't find anything in the
pet section. I am looking for books that will help me
Thanks to all the breeders and ob instructors who've ordered "puppy books" to
provide as part of their package, I just mailed a check for $1116.00 to the
BMD Fund of the AKC-Canine Health Foundation.
I continue to get "thumbs up" feedback from new puppy owners, &quo
I second the titles, Don't Shoot The Dog (Karen Pryor) and The Culture
Clash (Jean Donaldson). Excellent books! I'd also add How To Teach A New
Dog Old Tricks (Ian Dunbar). It has lots of easy to follow/understand

nephews picked it up in a flash when they visited and they still run to the
drawer and pull out the clicker every time they visit.
I think they see it like a super hero tool .

Any recommendations from the list regarding a good positive training book
for a precocious 9yr old?
I remember reading Carol Lea Benjamin's _Dog Training For Kids_ when I was
his age (taking it out from the library for months on end), and wonder
what's out there these days that would be good.
It's that time of year...when all accounts have to be balanced . So, I've
been tallying up the Puppy Book proceeds
The total sent to the AKC/CHF- BMD Donor Advised Fund for 2002 will be

I just placed an order for more books (through Boris's

gave them someones e-mail address and that person buys
