Hi Danielle, Sounds like he was trying to throw up so doesn't need to have vomitting induced. This is only done when the dog is not gagging and you know he just ate a sock or some other prize! I would have your vet check his throat in case he has a seed or piece of stick stuck, alternatively feed h

hi everyone, i have a question, we were all out hiking today and my boy mutt suddenly comes over gagging and choking a little, then ate a lot of grass all the way back--and drank water but cannot throw up, and i know he wants to--he's still gagging a little! i think he got something up his nose
