That's true, and support for WMA in SoftSqueeze is probably further out on the horizon, as it would either require using (on Windows) hooks into the Windows Media API or a separate license from Microsoft. On Sep 3, 2005, at 10:12 AM, MrC wrote: Softsqueeze is not using the wma support yet.

I have a 3-CD compilation album "Chilled Ibiza Gold", where tracks on each disk have been cross-faded to run without pauses between them. Therefore I have extracted the music as a single .mp3 file for each disk and have used cue sheets so I can play the album without gaps. This is not working

This was on the end of my Podcasting thread but the title was misleading. I'm running SlimServer on a Linkstation, currently using the 02-08 nightly of 6.2 which works fine. If I try any nightly after that date slimserver doesn't index my library correctly and only finds 7 Albums. 02-08 Nightly

If I'm correct and you're experiencing the same thing I was, there are other threads that discuss the problem. Look for Group Compilation, or Various Artists. (Sorry, I don't recall the thread titles.) Try changing the options under Compilations in Server Settings->Behavior. You don't have to r

Ok, I'll be the first to confess. I have lots of WMAs. I just upadated to the 9/3 nightly with the WMA support. The new code appears to be working fine. The wma to flac decoders are no longer running. And the wma support just gave me back about 5-8% of the my cpu. slim is using much less tim
