Jim, Turns out I had one track on a non-compilation album which was missing the ARTISTSORT. So I think it's working OK for me, but I did add myself to the bug you referenced. FWIW, the following patch might fix your problem, I couldn't really test it though as I no longer have a problem myself.

I also noticed a drop in reported signal strength going from 37 to 41. And some of the old bi-modal signal strength behavior has returned. The 37 signal strength is much closer to what my laptop sees in the same location. However, 41 seems very solid in actual performance. Linksys WRT54G V2 12

Tried firmware 41 with my Vigor 2600G using firmware 2.5.9_UK WPA/PSK works (first time!) WEP 128bit works WPA with WEP with sb set to WPA doesn't work (wireless network not found) Laptop was fine with this. Thanks for the progress. Still can't use it though as I have legacy WEP only devices.
