I extracted 2.4.1 into C:\Program
Files\SlimServer\server\HTML\EN\html\softsqueeze over my existing 6.3
version of Softsqueeze and it works just fine.

I am runnung Suse Linux 10.0 and get also the error message that perl-gd
is missing when I try to install the latest 6.3.0 nighly (I am running
version 6.3.0 - 7337 - Linux - DE - utf8 at the moment, from May 8,
2006).
I do not find in yast a package perl-gd to install.
Can anybody help please?

Yes they will work fine with those servers.

Quick update I have managed to install some of the modules. But I cant
find
error: Failed dependencies:
perl-DBD-SQLite is needed by slimserver-2006_06_12-1.noarch
perl-GD is needed by slimserver-2006_06_12-1.noarch
I managed to install the rest by webadmin.

branch was merged back. I already use MySQL for the slimserver
database, so wondered what issues I'd find when I run update. Do I

I was running a 6.2.2 install ok and updated to 6.3 build from end of
last week - ran it as a service to start with on XP but it hung with
'slimserver starting' for a long long time (over 2 days). I actually
left it running because my library takes that long to index most times.
Anyway gave up
