I also imported my ripped CDs into Rhapsody. They no longer play in last night's build (6/24). In fact, softsqueeze hangs if I try to play a Rhapsody album saying "connecting..." I cannot go back with the left arrow. -- jarome

I have the same problem with 6.5 since the MySQL changes and I have raised bug 3574 for it. I find a very small number of tracks do play but have been unable to detect a reason for this. I haven't found any debug options that indicate what the problem is either! 6.2 and pre-MySQL 6.5 are still w

I have been using earlier versions of 6.3 and not had this problem to the same degree, although it was still very slow (taking a few hours to scan a library that has 10,263 songs). But with the 6-24 build, things seem to have gotten slower in the later stage of scanning, when it's pulling in play

SlimServer should detect all servers on a LAN automatically soon after they start up. If for some reason you are firewalling your internal LAN connections, try disabling your internal firewall. There are several standard UPnP ports but Rhapsody also starts up an HTTP server on a random high port
