Just out of curiosity I've updated my Slimserver to Version '6.5b1 -
8926 - Linux - EN - utf8' using the rpm from the download page.

Lookiing again at the output of the MySQL slow query log, notice that
MySQL had to examine over FIFTEEN MILLION rows there. I have less than
25k tracks in my library.
I think there is a problem with one of the JOINs. Since I can't get
the MySQL ODBC driver to link the v 6.5 tables to MSAccess

browsing A LOT for me. However, I've recently noticed that browsing by
genre has slowed to a crawl.

SB3. That's unfortunate since then you cannot listen even to Internet
radio stations even if your connection to them is excellent. You'll

I got it working now. Turns out it was working all along - in 6.3 it
would tag tracks as "MM" as it went, in 6.5 it tags them all at the end
- I just wasn't waiting long enough. Props to the Slim Devices bug team
for diagnosing this and the Music IP dev

running under windows and I'm using a full version of MySQL, so you'll
