I just tried version 9007 and it seems to be working as it should be.
Navigation works as expected and Now Playing updates regardless of

I added an additional Client-identifer to the dhcp requests sent by the
firmware recently. It looks like this is causing some routers a
problem.
I have reopened the bug metioned in this thread. It would be useful to
know what routers people are seeing this issue with.
Thanks,

Hello,
I'm having an occasional problem (roughly daily) with the squeezebox
dropping its connection to the server.
Every so often, I'll find that the squeezebox display is blank. Pressing
the power button on the remote produces the messages 'Waking up slimserver'
then 'Connecting to slimserver',

function in the new branch. So last night I installed the 8-16 nightly

Checking back on the CLI docs for 6.3,

Aha. But note that I don't have the Belkin WAP any more (at home: I have
a Linksys WAP54GX instead). But all the WAPs at work are Belkins - and
they work fine.
Certainly my suspicion is that it's something to do with WiFi. It's
just strange that only the Nokia gets upset and only on some SS pages
