OK, so SlimServer should report back that scanning has ended? I don't
think I have ever seen that, but I run 6.3.1 - has it always done
that?
I guess then my scan has usually crashed very near the end, I don't
miss any music I want to listen to...

OK, it never does here. A refresh doesn't remove that message, so the
scan must have crashed.
I'm anyway "cleaning" up the disk from .cue and multiple .m3u files,
possibly the scan will go "the whole way" when I'm ready with that.

Yes, internal changes made the CLI a bit pickier than before. We tried
to keep compatibility with the doc, as you noticed.

I'm using a w2k pc as wireless access point, and the SB2 connects to is
just fine.
Ever since installing 6.5 (beta), when the pc is off the sb2 switches
the display off, but some time later switches it back on. So when I
come home from work I see the SB2 saying "connecting to wireless

Hiya,
I'm not sure whether this is a Beta /issue/ or just came up because I'm
testing the Beta stuff separately, so I'm reporting here in the hope
it's right.
The problem I'm seeing is that two instances of slimserver on the same
machine both register with mDNSResponder, obtaining two different
Fresh install - no lazy search - no delay on "new music".

I'm running a current trunk of 6.5 on Windows XP with iTunes 6
integration on an external MySQL 5.0 database.
I just noticed that some of my SQLPlaylists have stopped working as
expected - tracks were being excluded that shouldn't have been.

server. Now I'm trying to connect to that server from another machine
on the network using SQLyog and MySQL Administrator, and I'm having no
luck. I noticed that the MySQL my.tt configuration file includes the

my.tt is only the template for creating Cache/my.cnf. You'll have to
change that line in there.

Looks like changing it in the template should have worked, as the line
is missing from the my.cnf file
Ah... I just figured out what was wrong.
Shutting down SlimServer does not shut down the built-in MySQL server,
so the new config wasn't taking effect.
