But 6.5.1 is on my SUSE Linux machine.Switching to JLayer cured it for me. This is certainly a critical bug. I have over 20,000 tracks, so do not want to retag everything! It must be a server problem because SoftSqueeze 2.8 has the same problems. Please fix this and post when it is cured. Jim

The first is not really a bug, but it is a problem: http://softsqueeze.sourceforge.net/ is still all about Softsqueeze 2.0, including a Download version 2.0 now link etc. It would be good for this to refer to and point at version 3. Second is a bug, and I should probably report it over there

Bump. I'm still experiencing this problem. Whenever I stop and restart slimserver, my Squeezeboxes remain on a blank screen. I have to press the power button twice quickly for the squeezeboxes to reconnect. Phil ___ beta mailing list

My server is at r10392 in trunk. I hadn't tried it in quite a while, since I usually use Softsqueeze, but the stream.mp3 link is no longer working for me. In WinAmp I get an 'error syncing to mpeg' when I connect to the url. Softsqueeze is working fine, so I'd guess that flac mp3 transcoding
