It's only black on white background.
(by the way, very nice work! I love this 7.0 :) )

All reasonable SlimServer 7.0 bugs are OK, including reports on the
fishbone skin.
"Reasonable" is defined as passing the scrutiny of Chris Owens or
Dean.
I should probably also mention that the nightly SlimServer 7.0 builds
for Windows are temporarily unavailable. The motherboard on the machine
died, and a replacement is on its way.
In the meantime, please use the September 26th Windows build from

I typically have slimserver running in a terminal, not in daemon mode,
since I'm developing it on any given day. In this case, it's simply a
ctrl-C in the terminal window that SS is running.
If you are running as a daemon, it's a two step process from the
command line:
ps ax | grep slimserver.pl
There better be a 'Squeeze Play' button. ;)

Ben, or anyone else - when running using your instructions, how do you
restart or stop the server?
Obviously the init.d scripts for doing this aren't there.
Would it be ./slimserver.pl -restart and ./slimserver.pl -stop?

I like the new feature that allows you to have the player control
portion of the screen appear in its own window. Thanks for that.
In Safari the popup window isn't quite wide enough for the power button
to display correctly.

Is this only when you drag the currently playing song or with others, too?

which is broken.

Better. And worse.
I don't see any slight shifting when moving the cursor around, but
sometimes pages load with the overlapped artwork before even moving the
cursor around within the page.

Hey, I think I've fixed that one. It was indeed a case of "suboptimal"
style application :-)
I'm sorry it didn't make it to the nightly. If you still want to give
it a try, but don't want to wait for tomorrow's build, just replace

I just had a chance to play with the drag-and-drop reordering of the
playlist. A couple of suggestions:
- When reordering items, it's too easy to accidentally click the area
you intend to drag and end up bringing up track details. It's not then
end of the world if that happens, but an annoyance
