using the 31/10 build on XP I can play AACplus stream with no problem both just the URL or the URL in a PLS. Can you post the URL which fails for you ? A checking Stream error is usually a playlist parsing problem where SC cannot find an URL to play. -- bpa

Both those URL play OK using Tune-in. The build of 31/10 is 14241 Run SC from a cmd prompt. Then enable logging for Player.source and then play the problem URL. The log from socetwrapper and mplayer will be shown in the cmd prompt window mixed in with the SC log messages. -- bpa

I made that change (change 14150) to fix bug 5620. It's been reported to work on recent versions of CentOS and Fedora. It looks like CC is incompatible with the -d option. What version of CentOS is CC4.1 based on? I'll go find a CC mirror and see why their /etc/init.d/functions is different.
