Yes, I'm looking at fixing the subscriber behaviour.
The LastFM plugin should have the same effect as listening with the
LastFM player. When LastFM music is 'scrobbled' it has a different tag
from normal music so it can be treated differently by LastFM, but

Could this possibly have anything to do with MusicIP having it's own
cache of song information? I notice that squeezecenter gets song info
from MusicIP as one of the scan stages. Could this be where my "stale"
data is coming from? If so, how can I resolve it?

I guess no one else is experiencing this behavior? Am I doing something
wrong? Can anyone give me some pointers for some things I should look
at to debug/fix this problem?
Thanks,

Thanks for responding Andy.
Is there a sample somewhere of what a simple opml file should look
like.
I don't need it to have any structure just a single list. Perhaps in

I have a script that builds the m3u so i will just have it make the

Hi
After switching from a Dec 12 nightly to a Jan 9 nightly the items in
an internet radio PL now show up as the name of the PL file. This is
the same for the players and the web interface. They are rtsp streams
and I am running alien bbc v2.3. Before I set the file to read only it

Should be only those testing 7.0 before it was fixed.

It will only be an issue for those who had the problem while using 7.0
before 7.0 was fixed.

Is that going to be an issue for users migrating from 6.5 to 7.0, or

Anyone know of any resolution here?
I posted the requested info in Bugzilla, but apparently no longer have
permission to view this bug report.
As of the 1 Jan build, this still seems to be an issue.

I see the favorites icon has been added to several list views, eg. album and
song context. eg. I can click the favorites "heart" icon on an album in a list
of albums, and it changes to a heart with a "-" to indicate remove from
favorites. I can navigate to the favorite and press play, and voil
Something changed... for the better. I just installed last night's
windows build, enabled the Last.fm AudioScrobbler and re-isntalled
SqueezeScrobbler and everything seems to be working as expected. No
pauses in the music.

I don't know MySQL enought to say whether this is expected or not... But

OK, so I edited the /etc/my.cnf file to more closely match the values in

My system variable SQL Charsets are now:

OK, updated to SVN 16068. No change in behavior, so perhaps this is
related to my ancient svn install (pre-dates the change from
"slimserver" to "squeezecenter") and the fact that I'm using a system,
non-bundled version of mysqld.
SC7 Settings->Status reports:
SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0 - TRUNK
After a long trial-error, I manage to get scrobbling works.
First, clear browser cache, delete SC cache/log/pref, uninstall SC,
install 9 Jan nightly, reconfig SC, finally scrobbling from SC to
last.fm works again. :)
Cheers.
