I really think it's the anti-virus program's problem and not SC. They
are all different and I don't know how any program can keep up with
them even week to week. Then you also have the responsibility of
keeping them up to date. How can they know if you keep it up to date
or not? Just had one
I'm constantly seeing the 'Choose Player' dropdown list resizing to just

I was seeing this too with 7.2 IE7, but it seems to have either been
fixed with later versions or gone away when I sorted
What are peoples thoughts on how stable 7.2 is? Thanks.

I agree that it's difficult for anti-virus programs to keep ahead of the
game, but that was not really the point of my post. My first point was
re the firewall warning. My second point (which you responded on), was
in reference to McAfee Viruscan. I had to downgrade Viruscan from real
time
Dunno. Where is it hidden?

Fixed!
I'm not sure why, but originally a lot of the mp3s in my music folder
had different permissions (including many that were executable!). So I
changed the permissions to 644 (user read write, group other read
only). That did it!

I tried to start a MusicIP mix from the WebUI by navigating to song info for a
song, and clicking the M MusicIP Mix icon.
The song I picked was 1. Living Well Is The Best Revenge by R.E.M. from
Accelerate.
I tried several times to generate a mix from this song, and MusicIP mix only

Why would you want to try it? 7.1 is not even released - there's no
additional work in 7.2 (unless accidental).

I do not see Album length or Album replay gain. That info used to
be there and I would like to see it on the future versions too.
Got it, thanks. Fixed in rev. 21534.

Realised that now, so whats the point in having a 7.2 yet then?

I think it is the baseline for the work planned for 7.2 (see
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SoftwareRoadmap ) and for any
development work which is done separately. The new work is merged into
main line when ready for more public use.

Thanks.
In trying that, now I can't repeat the issue! I'm getting similar great mixes
both ways, which is good.
I noticed a few curiosities In the log though. I often see:

It's a target for some bugs, to allow any work on those to have a place
that won't interfere with the 7.1 trunk if/when work begins.
It is also a parallel to the squeezeOS/squeezePlay repo, where 7.2 is
set
Hi,
My SBC seem to be stuck at jive-7.1r2649. I can't downgrade, nor update
from the net or SD card. Pressing the middle button on either of these
choices only triggers the sound effect, but nothing else happens.
I tried resetting both using menu and through key combination. This did
not reset
Switch off the SBC. Then hold the Power On + Volume Up keys to revert
back to the last known good firmware. In my case I went back to 2641,
then I was able to upgrade beyond 2649. Later firmware revs have been
fine.

I never had that plug-in and I was seeing consistently whenever I
changed players. Today, after you mentioned it, I checked again and it
does appear to be working again.
