Hrm, have you tried the stable version? My machine (32-bit 8.10 Ubuntu)
is running stable 7.3.2. My squeezecenter is stable at ~80MB RSS

and I forgot to say, I have no Controller, so was controlling the SBR
from SC itself, and also playing with iPeng on an iPodTouch.
I'm not sure whether I was using iPeng at the time, but it's possible.

will definitely benefit SqueezePlay in the long run, so expect a quiet
time before a burst of some pretty significant work.
