[SlimDevices: Beta] SoftSqueeze in a plugin repository ?

2009-08-04 Thread erland
As I've understand SoftSqueeze will no longer be bundled with Squeezebox Server starting with 7.4. Would it be possible to package SoftSqueeze in a plugin and made it available as an optional component through one of the plugin repositories ? I could do it myself, but it feels better if Logitech

To fix some bugs that Softsqueeze 3.7 had with 7.3.x I updated Softsqueeze to 3.9 but it is still a beta as there are 3 possible bugs outstanding which I haven't had time to get back to it but have discussed with Ralphy about a proper release in a repository in whatever state when 7.4 was released

The issue with the panel not associating with the player (SB3) is fixed in today's Windows build 28035. Selecting to view Albums or Artists for the first time still takes a little bit longer than I expected, but better than SQLite. When I click to retrieve the same Album list "again" during the

It looks to me as if your installation has partially failed and you are left with a malformed database. I would do a remove install via Control Panel, restart the PC and then a fresh install of the latest 7.4 nightly. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl
