I try to install 7.5 embedded on a clean minimal debian squeeze system

However i get the message that mysql-server needs to be installed. I
thought that the embedded version works without mysql?

Correct. But I doubt we've already fixed/adapted the packages. Just force
install it and give it a try.

That works, but when i afterwards want to install another package with
apt-get then it refuses to install because there are unmet dependencies
which i have to solve first by running 'apt-get install -f'.
That installs mysql again which i don't want since i'm limited in space
on my sheeva.

Please file a bug on bugs.slimdevices.com. We'll have to fix this for 7.6
(we'll enable 7.6 nightlies soon - they're based on 7.5/embedded).

Now that 7.5.0 is getting closer we've merged 7.5/embedded back to 7.6/trunk.
We've changed the build hosts to provide 7.6 nightlies instead of the
7.5/embedded nightlies. Please no longer use the embedded branch, but switch to
using 7.6 instead. Thanks!

I am on the 7.5 embedded branch, when I do an automatic update will it
pull down the 7.6 or do I have to actually go grab a 7.6 Nightly? My
beta machine is running XP SP3.
You'll need to install 7.6 manually. Automatic updates will be enabled soon.

It's still on the same level as 7.5/embedded. We only just merged them. Stay
tuned.

Can't see 7.6 in the nightly builds, only 7.4.3, 7.5 7.5-embedded.
Is 7.6 (.tgz) waiting for tonights compiling or is it somewhere else?

I'm running latest 7.5 (not embedded) and am running into a consistent
problem with the Radio (wireless but good wireless strength and solid
network) not connecting after WOL (using the fabulous Server Power Ctrl

Hey, I have a Qnap TS-209 that is running Debian Squeeze.
I have a Squeezebox v3 classic and a Duet.
The stable and minor nightly builds on the 7.4.x branch seem fine but
when I goto 7.5 or now 7.6 my Duet Controller stops functioning
correctly.
This is 7.5 builds from a long way back to the
