Its 7.6.0/9148 just asking me for upgrade to 9151. The upgrade seemingly
completed successfully (i watched it all the way) and the controller
restarted. Firmware now reports reports as 9151, but somehow it won't
last however improbable this sounds.

Btw I just realized that the svn.slimdevices.com is answering all
queries with a "404 - Not Found" server error. Is that intentional or
is it broken, too?

I am running a recent (can't remember the date but < 2 weeks) 7.6 beta
on my ReadyNAS Duo. Everything seems fine in my environment apart from
the fact that the Controller wants to upgrade its firmware once a day.
I usually listen to my Squeezebox in the mornings and last thing at

probably unconnected but perhaps you could start SBS from a command
line with "--d_startup" to see if there are any module loading
errors.

FileHandle module looks ok - version difference compared to my system
because you have Perl 5.8.8. In Perl 5.8.8 FileHandle is in CPAN
whereas in 5.10 it is a core module - so there is still the faint
possibility of omission somehow.
