I'm having trouble tracking down where this could be coming from. So far, I have been unable to reproduce it. The initial report said that it occurred with r31401 but subsequently Mikael Nyberg suggested that the problem could have been introduced with r31371. What is the latest revision that

You'd be pretty hard pressed to find anything resembling what would be typical release notes from what is an automated nightly build system. Just because there is a new version out doesn't even necessarily mean there were changes made, and most changes made are noted in the individual bug

Don't run 7.6 betas if you can't stand these quirks . Maybe the 7.5.2 safe bugfix beta instead :) the 7.6 is as they say a daily snapshot off the software as it is developed it could brake any day and it's tested by us 7.6 beta users so it can very well just not work one day, or some part could
