Note that the new bug handling demands 3 votes or confirmation by a
power user of some kind, once the bug is confirmed it may get attention
.
So if you are beta testing, I do like this I also start a tread about
the issue to stir some interest and in that same tread I pt a link to
the bug. That w
Does anyone know how hardware sales are doing?
I'm starting to get a little concerned that one of these days we are
going to read on Engadget that the Squeezebox line is no more.

Yes, latest SBS 7.6 from SVN. I've only been using the 7.6 server for
day-to-day lately. Squeezebox2 is running fw 135, Transporter running
fw 85.
Testing last week (I thought I mentioned it in another thread) the
scrolling problems only appeared on the ip3k device that was synced

I saw something similar when connecting a 7.6 firmware boom to mysb.com today.

I'm still seeing major problems with Now Playing screens and scrolling
on ip3k players. I'm not certain, but it may only happen on sync'd
players. At any given I see one or more of the following problems:

- Now Playing appearing 30 seconds or mor

Just for anyone that wonders, SMD is the work in progress and link I
mentioned in my previous post. We can't give you any further details
besides the information you find in the above thread at this time.

IMHO 7.6 as it is now (sans bugs) is the biggest step forward since I
use the SB so I find it rather important.
I mainly care about SQLite and the new artwork handling. Ok and maybe
UPnP, not yet sure.
I don't believe what's currently targeted for 8.0 will ever come (from
Logitech) since it doesn
Ok, just disabling SugarCube did not make a difference. Rescanning
library with the MusicIP and SugarCube Plugins disabled.

Just installed Moose on my laptop (win7) running against my server
((win7))
Started playing my favorite test track for this - see attachment. Works
fine in SBS.
I have stripped my server for most plugins

I mean don't use MusicIP for anything, just do a vanilla scan on your files
using SBS.

No problems with SBS except when
What is the big deal with 7.6? All this development should stop. The
point is to get to 8.0. Yes working up through the 7's is a means of
doing that. But at this point if 7.5.2 is that far away and 7.6
production is nowhere close, why not put all efforts into 8.0 and let
7.5.1 ride it out until 8.

I can agree that from an outside perspective it has felt a bit strange
during the last year or two but I suspect the big difference are some

I just tested Moose against my 7.6 library (on a Linux box) and it
displays UTF-8 characters without any problems (see screenshot).
In your log, the track is being sent from SBS as:
Samba%20da%20Ben%C3%83%C2%A7%C3%83%C2%A3o
This is wrong and looks double-encoded. I assume you are running 7.6

Hi Michael,
I did no full rescan at this time, but next time I'll have a look and

Andy, glad to hear that we have a suspect. I don't know if this will
help, but I have attached the log from Moose as I played the same track

It has already been stated that 7.5.2 will arrive in the early next

It seems to be a black hole of development right now. I've reported a
couple bugs and there has been no reply nor have they been addressed.
Is the end ever going to come? I know delivery dates are impossible
but it would be nice to know some head way is at least being made.

Back in 7.5 embedded SBS suddenly there were issues with foreign
characters in various places and some of these are still seen in 7.6.
Well the problems seen in SBS itself has been
